Surf Lessons - Onslow Beach
This summer Indo Jax is proud to announce a new program coming to Onslow Beach. We will be offering weeklong surf camps and private lessons exclusively for Camp Lejeune Marine Base families, children and personnel. These camps will run much like our others in Wrightsville Beach, Oak Island and Topsail Island. Our Onslow Beach program will have several options to choose from.

Morning Surf Camp - Onslow Beach

The Onslow Beach Morning Surf Camp will run from 9-11 am Monday through Friday for children 9 and up. This camp will cover basic ocean safety as well as beginning surf safety and instruction. Students will receive 10 hours of professional group instruction, at a 3-1 ratio, and learn the basics of surfing such as paddling, the “pop up”, and proper riding technique. Equipment included. Cost of this program is $200/ $240/ $260 depending on rank. This class is limited to 20 children.
Rentals - Onslow Beach

After the morning surf camp our boards are available for rent. Rentals will be available from 11 am to 5 pm. Board rental cost is $20 per day and must be returned each evening for our evening surf clinic at 5 pm.
Private Lessons - Onslow Beach

Our Onslow Beach Private Lesson Program will run Monday through Thursday from 11:30 to 1. Private lessons are perfect for children and adults ages 5 and up who would like 1 on 1 personalized instruction. Students get 11/2 hours of professional private instruction at a 1-1 ratio. Equipment included. Cost of this program is $35/$40/$45 depending on rank. This program has limited availability.
Evening Surf Clinic - Onslow Beach

Our Onslow Beach evening surf camp is geared for older children and adults. This camp is best for those folks who are very comfortable in the water and can paddle independently. Students can sign up for 1 or more days of group instruction at a 5-1 ratio. Equipment included. Cost $45 per person per day. This class is limited to 10 people per evening.
Wounded Warrior Surf Therapy Class
Every Friday our surf camps, lessons and rentals shut down for 2 hours for our Wounded Warrior Surf Therapy Class. During this time, soldiers in the Wounded Warrior Battalion may take a surf lesson, rent a board, or simply hang out with the other surfers and instructors. Cost of this class is FREE for the Wounded Warriors!
