Summer Surf Camps - Wrightsville Beach

Wrightsville Beach is a beautiful beach town closest to Wilmington, North Carolina. It was voted one of the best beach/surf towns not too long ago in a popular surf magazine, and for good reason. The weather is beautiful, the water is warm and the waves are perfect for learning to surf. Most days at Wrightsville Beach in the summer you'll feel like you're in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. Our summer surf camps are absolutely the best surf camps you'll find anywhere. Our instructors are highly trained, skilled in the ocean, great teachers and very personable. Our equipment is the best and safest you can find, and our attention to detail is unparalleled. Morning Surf Camp

During the months of June, July and August, Indo Jax® Surf School runs week long morning surf camps at Wrightsville Beach. Our Wrightsville Beach morning surf camps run Monday through Friday from 8-10 am. All students receive 10 hours of professional surf instruction, The Indo Jax® Ocean and Surf Guide, environmental beach tote and Indo Jax® Surf School sticker, and the time of their life! All necessary equipment is provided and included in the price. Cost per person, only $290 per person.

Half-Day Surf Camp

The half -day surf camps will operate Monday through Friday throughout the summer, from 8-12 am. Students in this program surf from 8-10 am, have snack (provided) from 10-10:30, then from 10:30 to 12 noon will participate in other ocean sports such as stand up paddling, body boarding and body surfing. All students in this program receive 4 hours a day of ocean sports instruction (including 10 hours of professional surf instruction), The Indo Jax® Ocean and Surf Guide, environmental beach tote, Indo Jax® Surf School sticker, and the time of their life! All necessary equipment is provided and included in the price. Cost per person, only $395.

Full-Day Camp - Wrightsville Beach

Participants in our Full Day Camp will participate in our Half Day Surf Camp from 8 am to noon at Wrightsville Beach Access #10. They will receive all the surf instruction, goodies and beach activites included in the AM and Half Day Surf Camp but will stay with us until 6pm. At noon, participants will be taken to lunch at one of our area’s fantastic eateries for a relaxing and nutritious lunch. Lunch is included in the price. After lunch, students will participate in one of the many incredible activities our area of North Carolina has to offer. Activities include but are not limited to, ukelele lessons, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, visiting our very own North Carolina Aquarium, paddle boating in Greenfield Lake, miniature golfing, tubing etc After an afternoon snack, students will be brought back to Wrightsvile Beach Access #10 where they will participate in more beach activities before pick up between 5 and 6 pm. All equipment, meals and snacks provided. This “Sell-Out” Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. Max 10 participants. Ages 10 and up. Students will need water bottle, swim attire, sunscreen, and change of dry clothes. Cost for this Full Day Week Long Camp only $895 per person.

Evening Surf Camps/ Lessons - Wrightsville Beach

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening during the months of June, July and August, Indo Jax® will be running small group surf lessons at Wrightsville Beach. These classes will go from 5-7 pm. This class will run much like our others, but will be limited to 10 participants each evening. All necessary equipment is provided and included in the price.

Wrightsville Beach

Indo Jax Surf School is offering a great new surf program starting Spring of 2012, The Indo Jax Surf Team. This program is designed for those kids that want to take their surfing skill to the next level. Indo Jax has highly talented surfer/surf instructors that can help you improve your surf skill and guide your surfing to the next level. The Indo Jax Surf Team instruction focuses on advanced surfing techniques such as, paddling and duck diving, reading waves, and advanced surfing maneuvers. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, if you are looking to advance your surfing, this class is for you. This class meets every Friday at 4:15 and runs until about 6 pm. Students must have their own wetsuit. Although we do provide equipment for this class we encourage children in this group to purchase their own equipment eventually. Cost of this class is only $20 per session.

Registration Day for the Spring Session is March 9th at the Wrightsville Beach Mellow Mushroom.

 

 

Weekend Surf Clinics - Wrightsville Beach

Our popular weekend surf clinics will begin in September, and continue through the month of September.  Each weekend we will have a surf camp that runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 am-12 noon.  Each participant gets 4 hours of professional instruction, the Indo Jax® Surf Guide, sticker and environmental beach tote for low price of $120 per person.  All equipment, including wet suits, is provided.  Sign up now for this  great offer!

Spring Break Surf Camp - Wrightsville Beach

Get a jump start on summer by participating in this one of a kind program! Indo Jax is offering a week long Surf Camp during Spring Break. This surf camp runs from Monday April 2nd through Friday April 6th from 10 am to noon.

In Spring, Wrightsville Beach is a beautiful place to be. The beach is uncrowded and the surf is gentle, perfect for beginners and intermediates alike. The water is still cool so a wetsuit in required, but generally the weather is gorgeous.

Our Spring Break Surf Camp has a small class size of no more than 12 participants and a student to instructor ratio of 2:1. The cost of this program is only $225 per person. All equipment except wetsuit is provided.

All of our Wrightsville Beach Surf Camps meet at access #10 otherwise known as Mallard Street.  On Monday (check in day), please arrive a little before 8 am to help us start on time.  Participants need a towel, sunscreen and water bottle.  Parents are welcome to stay or drop their children off and pick them up after class.  DVD's and slideshows are available for the camps for a $30 charge.  You can make arrangements to purchase the DVD on Monday.  Students will be given an Indo Jax® rash guard to use for the week.  We collect the rash guards on Friday after the camp.  If you have any questions about your camp please call (910) 274-3565.
